Bands associated with Devin
Steve Vai
Devin's first big break came with his appearance on guitar
virtuoso Steve Vai's album, Sex & Religion on lead vocals. Devin
even featured on the album's front cover and also played guitar live with
Steve on the tour that followed. After witnessing first-hand the "dark
side" of the music business he left and formed SYL. Devin and Steve still
remain good friends and a majority of the City record was made at
Steve's "Mothership" recording studio.

Stuck Mojo
A band Devin has toured, produced and recorded with.
This Atlanta,GA quartet is also on the Century Media record label alongside
Strapping Young Lad.

Because You're Not... Promised... A Website
Zimmer's Hole
All hail The Hole!! A most entertaining metal band who
are on the HDR label. Devin produced the Hole's album, Bound By Fire
and the band itself features none other than Jed Simon and Byron Stroud
from SYL. If you haven't heard Zimmer's then you are truly missing out
on a lot of heavy metal fun!!
Punchdrunk
Another band outta Canada that appeared on the HDR GRRRR!
album. The band put out an 8 song CD which was produced by Devin and since
that recording have taken on the mighty Gene Hoglan from SYL on drums.
Their next album will also be produced by Dev.

Unit: 187
A band from Canada who are a major part of the whole
SYL family tree. Keyboardist John Morgan played live with SYL on the first
Australian tour but has since gone back to his main band of Unit 187. Described
as techno-metal the group also features Jed and Byron from SYL on bass
and guitar.
Segression
A great Australian metal band who have toured with Strapping
Young Lad on their 1997 and 1998 Australian tours.

Damaged
Australia's premier "hate-core" band. Damaged have been
on the scene now for ten years and supported SYL on the 1998 Australian
Tour. Other support slots have included Cannibal Corpse, Soulfly and Fear
Factory.
Passive Backseat Demon Search Engines
Alchemist
A band from Canberra, Australia who supported SYL on
the national tour of Australia 1997.
Henry's Anger
Another band from Canberra who were the national support
of Australia on the 1999 SYL/Ocean Machine/Infinity tour.
