Dear AXS Member,

Recently we sent you an email to announce that AXS Internet Services has joined forces with Hotkey Internet Services. The new dial-up service is now ready and we need you to change your dial-up settings. Please note that the old dial-up service (9532-0010) will be disconnected in the next 10-14 days.

If you are using Microsoft Windows please download and run this file to automatically change your settings:

You will need to enter the following information:

Username: your full axs email address, eg user@axs.com.au
Password: your dial-up password

Running this program will create a new dial-up connection to Hotkey, with all the correct settings, and create a shortcut for this connection on your desktop.

Note: If you are an Option 1 member please use your username@axs.com.au (For example: if you dial-up username is "jsmith", please use jsmith@axs.com.au as your dial-up username from now on).

Please note that the password to be entered in the password field is the password you are currently using for dial-up, which will also now become your email password. In other words, you will no longer need to have two separate passwords for dial-up and for email one password will do for both. However, the change in the email password may take up to a couple of days to take effect, so you should keep on using your current email password for the time being, and when that stops working, use your dial-up password instead.

You do not need to make any changes to your mail settings - they should continue to work as they are.

For the more technical:
New dial-in number: 9923 0800
No scripting or DNS servers required (all are automatically assigned)
Incoming mail server: mail.axs.com.au
Outgoing mail server: mail.axs.com.au (mail.hotkey.net.au will work as well)

We are excited to announce that AXS Internet Services has joined forces with Hotkey Internet Services!

Soon we will be moving our facilities on to the Hotkey network to provide you with an even faster network and better service. You will not lose the advantages of AXS Internet Services, but you will gain all the advantages of belonging to a Top 10 ISP.

You will be able to access all the great features of a Hotkey including:
* Live telephone support from 9am to 9pm Weekdays and 9am to 5pm Saturday.
* A fully digital national Internet network for faster connection speeds.
* A full range of business services including web hosting and online data backup.
* High speed broadband services including ISDN, ADSL and Satellite.
* Access to Global Roaming including 100 PoPs all around Australia, 2,500 around the world.
* Personalised local service provided by the Hotkey Kew franchise.

We will contact you again over the next few days and provide you with the phone numbers and settings you can use to access the new network. You do not need to do anything at this stage.

Please be assured we will maintain your plan as it is for some time, and keep you fully informed of any changes that may occur through the web page and via email. The AXS.COM.AU domain will continue to exist and you will keep your email address and web site (if you have one). Hotkey will be honouring pre-paid memberships and will have records of account balances to ensure you are not disadvantaged.
